Chess Advanced Trader (com.zimit.traderchess) · Last updated: 16 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Chess Advanced Trader (the “App”) collects, why it is collected, and what control you have over it. It applies to the mobile apps and to the web version of the game.

1.3 Device and technical data

1.4 Data stored only on your device

Offline games, puzzle and tutorial progress, theme and board preferences, and cached match history are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.

2. Advertising

The mobile version of the App shows advertising through Google AdMob, including banners, an occasional interstitial after a match, and optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch in exchange for a hint or an analysis. Google AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier and similar data in order to serve and measure ads. Google's handling of that data is governed by the Google Privacy & Terms.

Where required by law (for example in the EEA and the UK), you will be shown a consent form before personalised ads are served, and you can change your choice later from the privacy options in the App's settings. The web version of the game does not show ads.

3. Analytics

The mobile version uses Firebase Analytics to record aggregate, non-identifying usage events — for example which game modes are started and how far players get through the tutorial. This tells us which parts of the game work and which need attention. We do not use these events to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell, rent or trade your data to anyone.

4. Third-Party Services

Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Analytics)Accounts, friend requests, push notifications, analytics
Google AdMobAdvertising in the mobile apps

5. Data Retention and Security

Account and match data is kept for as long as your account exists. Data in transit is encrypted, and access to our servers and database is restricted to the developer. No system is perfectly secure, but the App is deliberately designed to hold as little about you as it can.

6. Children's Privacy

Chess Advanced Trader is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights and Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete My Account inside the App. Deleting your account permanently removes your username, rating and statistics. Past matches you played are retained in anonymised form, with your identity removed, so that your opponents keep their own game history intact.

To clear locally stored data, clear the App's storage or uninstall it. If you would like a copy of the data held about you, or wish to have it corrected, contact us using the details below.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date, and significant changes will be announced in the App.
